Fineline Atelier

A fine-line studio that answers the question every anxious client actually has. One switch flips the entire gallery between fresh work and the same pieces healed.

Fineline Atelier

Two artists, single-needle botanical work, small script and delicate linework. Appointment only, one client in the studio at a time.

The brief

Clients choose fine-line precisely because it is subtle, and their biggest anxiety is not the pain — it is whether it will still look like anything in five years. Fine-line work genuinely spreads and softens as it settles, and the entire industry photographs it at the one moment it looks best and is least representative.

What we built

A gallery rather than a studio: warm white walls, pencil-on-tracing-paper greys, and a single thread of pale gold used about four times in the whole site. Twenty-one pages — every piece, both artists, pricing, aftercare and the FAQ.

The detail that does the work

Healed, not fresh. Every portfolio image has a counterpart shot at least a year later, and one toggle switches the whole gallery between them.

It is the riskiest thing on the site and the reason it converts. A studio willing to show you the one-year version is either confident or honest, and an anxious client reads both the same way. Placement is treated the same — shown where the work genuinely sits well and where it does not, rather than only the flattering angle.
