Skin fades, beard work, hot-towel shaves. Checkerboard floor, leather chairs, walk-ins welcome.
The brief
Customers know what they want and cannot name it. In the shop they point at the guard chart screwed to the wall. Online, every barbershop site makes them guess from a price list — so they guess wrong, or they don’t book at all.
What we built
The chart from the wall, rebuilt as the site’s primary navigation. Oxblood, steel and bone, set in a hard grid with a checkerboard rule across the top — the room, not a template’s idea of a barbershop.
The detail that does the work
Each clipper guard — #0 skin through #8 — is drawn as a plain side-profile showing the hair length it actually leaves. Choose one and the cut list filters to the cuts that use it, you see a photograph of that guard on the same head at the same angle every time, and the booking form arrives pre-filled with your choice.
Alongside it, a live strip says how long the wait is right now and whether the shop is open, so a walk-in customer knows before they set off.
