Ironhand Tattoo

Three artists, bold outlines and a limited palette. Flash off the wall as well as custom pieces, walk-ins taken for the small stuff.

The brief

Most people arriving here are on their first or second tattoo. They saw something on a phone, they badly underestimate how big it will be on their body, and they have no idea what it costs. That gap burns consultations and sometimes loses the booking entirely.

What we built

Aged flash paper, one black, one traditional red, and the flash wall itself as the layout. One page that carries the designs, the artists, the prices, a first-tattoo explainer and the booking.

The detail that does the work

Actual size. Pick a design from the wall, pick a placement — forearm, upper arm, calf, ribs, back, ankle — and the design renders at true scale on a simple line drawing of that body part, with the measurement in centimetres printed underneath. A slider moves it through the range that makes sense for that placement, and the price band moves with it.

By the time someone opens the booking form they already know the size, the placement and roughly what they will pay. Nobody is surprised in the chair.
